Booked Ola Electric's newly launched S1 X electric scooter? Be ready to get delivery soon. Because the first lot of the company's cheapest scooter has rolled out of Futurefactory.
Ola founder and CEO Bhavish Agarwal brought the issue to the fore by posting a picture. He and his three colleagues took pictures with the Ola S1 X out of the factory. Note that this year the scooter was launched on Independence Day at an ex-showroom price of Tk 90,000.

Ola
S1 X has been launched in three variants. They have different capacity
batteries present. The company says that the new model and the updated version
of the S1 have collectively received over 75,000 bookings within just a few
weeks of launch.
The
Ola S1 X comes with two battery pack options – 2 and 3 kWh. The top-spec S1 X+
variant offers a 3 kWh battery. It has been launched at an ex-showroom price of
Rs 1.09 lakh. The company said that this price is the introductory price of the
scooters. It was valid till August 21.
Earlier,
Ola had announced that deliveries of its cheapest S1 X+ will start from
September. The company is taking bookings for the S1 X for Rs 999. Ola said
that the delivery will start again from December. The new S1 Pro and S1 Air are
based on the second generation platform. There are telescopic forks at the
front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Two-wheeled drum brakes are allowed
to perform braking duties.
The 3 kWh version of the Ola S1 X is claimed to offer a range of 151 km on a full charge. Ola S1 X+ on the other hand has a top speed of 90 km/h and it takes 3.3 seconds to accelerate from 0-40 km/h. It is offered in multi tone design. It includes headlamp cowl, circular mirrors and new display. Alloy wheels have been replaced with steel rims. There is also 34 liters of boot space and a flat floor.
