Apple to launch new MacBook Air laptop with M4 chip, 18 hours of battery life with 16GB RAM

The upcoming MacBook Air M4 will come with the same design as its predecessor. The report says that Apple will soon start production of the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Airs, codenamed J713 and J714.



Apple has started preparing to launch the new MacBook Air with the M4 chipset. This year, i.e. in March 2024, the MacBook Air 13 and MacBook Air 15 models with the M3 chipset were launched. Apple also launched the iPad Pro with the M4 chipset in May. The M4 MacBook Air is expected to arrive in the first half of 2025. Its specifications and features have already been leaked. It is known that Apple's new MacBook will have 16GB RAM, Apple Intelligence support. It will offer a long battery life of up to 18 hours.

When will the MacBook Air M4 be launched?

A recent report claims that the MacBook Air M4 laptop will be launched in early 2025. Since the MacBook Air M3 series was launched in March this year, we can expect the successor model to arrive around the same time. This means we only have to wait a few more months to get our hands on Apple's next flagship laptop.

The next-generation MacBook Air will feature the M4 chip, which is already used in iPad Pro, MacBook Pro, Mac mini, and iMac models. This chip has a 10-core CPU, 10-core GPU, and Neural Engine, which will enhance the overall AI experience.
