Xiaomi's new phone comes with 120x zoom feature, Leica camera will take stunning pictures

Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its much-awaited flagship smartphone series, the Xiaomi 14 later this year. The lineup will include four models – Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Pro, 


Xiaomi 14 Pro+ and Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Although the existence of 14 Pro+ has not been officially confirmed. However, a tipster claims that the model will indeed be launched. He also revealed its codename.

The Xiaomi 14 series will include a new Pro+ model

Tipster Digital Chat Station claims that a Pro Plus model will also be launched under the Xiaomi 14 series alongside the standard, Pro and Ultra. It is codenamed “Arora”, a name taken from Roman mythology. It is already known that the codenames for the standard Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro are “Houji” and “Shennong” respectively. According to a report, all four of these flagship models are expected to use Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which will significantly increase the power and performance of the devices.

Xiaomi 14 Series Specifications (Probable)

The Xiaomi 14 Pro Plus will feature Leica branding with a quad-camera setup, aimed at complementing the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. It is said to offer a maximum zoom range of 120x, which is on par with its predecessor. It is expected to include a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens.

On the other hand, Xiaomi 14 is said to house a periscope telephoto lens with 90mm focal length and 3.9x optical zoom. And the Xiaomi 14 Pro is expected to offer a periscope telephoto lens with a focal length of 115mm and 5x optical zoom. The top-end Xiaomi 14 Ultra will feature a Leica Professional super-telephoto lens with a 120mm focal length, offering 3-10x lossless optical zoom. The Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro models will have battery capacities of 4,860 mAh and 5,000 mAh respectively. Both will support 120W fast charging.
