200 megapixel camera will shake the market, Honor 90 price leaked before launch in India

Honor is said to soon launch its Honor 90 smartphone in the Indian market. The upcoming phone is expected to be included in the mid-premium segment in the country.

The standard Honor 90 model was launched in China in May alongside the Honor 90 Pro. The device is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor. It will feature a triple rear camera setup with a powerful 200-megapixel primary camera. The launch of Honor 90 marks the return of the Honor brand after being inactive in the Indian smartphone market for the last three years. Former CEO of Realme Madhav Seth is also reported to lead Honor's Indian arm. And now a report has revealed the Honor 90 price details ahead of the official launch. Let's know how much the phone will be sold in this country.

Honor 90 price leaked

According to a report by The Mobile Indian, the Honor 90 will be priced around Rs 35,000 in India. In this price segment, the handset can compete with OnePlus Nord 3 5G, Echo Neo 7 Pro and Poco F5 5G. The base 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant of the Honor 90 was launched in the Chinese market at a price of 2,499 Yuan (around Rs. 29,000). Besides, the 16GB RAM + 256GB storage and 16GB RAM + 512GB storage models of the phone are priced at 2,799 Yuan (approx. Rs. 32,680) and 2,999 Yuan (approx. Rs. 35,017) respectively.

Honor 90 Specifications (Expected)

The Chinese variant of the Honor 90 features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,200 x 2,664 pixels) curved OLED display, which supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,600 nits peak brightness.

For photography, the Honor 90's triple camera setup includes a 200-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. And for selfies and video calling, there is a 50-megapixel front camera on the front of the phone. In terms of power backup, the Honor 90 uses a large 5,000mAh battery, which supports 66W wired fast charging.

Note that Honor is about to re-enter the Indian smartphone market after a three-year hiatus with the Honor 90. The former subsidiary brand of Chinese smartphone maker Huawei shut down its operations in India in 2020. Madhav Seth, Realme's vice president of business and corporate strategy, joined the company to lead Honor after stepping down last June.
