Mahindra is a very reliable name in the world of electric three-wheelers. The company today announced the launch of its new E-Alfa Super e-rickshaw.
The price is pegged at Rs 1.61 lakh (ex-showroom). The launch of the new model adds to the company's lineup of electric three-wheelers. The main attraction is that Mahindra has announced that the E-Alfa Super will be offered an accidental insurance of Rs 10 lakh for the driver.

Precisely the philosophy of auto is
embodied in this three-wheeled battery-powered vehicle. It features metal frame
structure, round headlights with turn indicators, large windshield and a black
soft top. Besides, black highlights and front wipers are provided for the
convenience of the driver. It has an advanced braking system and roof mounted
grab handle for added safety.
The new E-Alfa Super Rickshaw is
offered with a 140 ampere hour lead acid battery pack. Mahindra claims, as a
result, the model will provide 20% more range than before. 22 Nm of torque will
be available from its 1.64 kW electric motor. It is claimed to be capable of
running 95 km when fully charged.

Insurance and Charging According to company sources, E-Alfa currently has
50,000 buyers in the market. The main reason is its design and everyday use.
Mahindra thinks that more buyers will be attracted as a result of accidental
insurance offer of 10 lakh rupees.
The new Alpha comes with a Supreme 18 amp charger.
Which will help increase
efficiency by reducing charging time. Again 18 months warranty is being offered
on the battery and one year on the charger. Mahindra currently has around
10,000 EV charging stations in the country. From where Alfa customers will get
the service.
Mahindra E-Alfa Super Rickshaw: Service and Price
Currently, users can get electric rickshaw service from Mahindra's 1,150 touch points in the country. A one-year standard warranty is offered on every model. The Mahindra E-Alfa Super is priced at Rs 1.61 lakh (ex-showroom) but will vary state-specifically due to government subsidies.
