Oppo recently teased its new foldable smartphone, which will be called the Oppo Find N3. The company will soon launch the device in China and select markets around the world.
Meanwhile, Oppo's sister brand OnePlus is gearing up to launch its first foldable device, the OnePlus Open. It is rumored to be based on Oppo's upcoming Find-series foldable and will debut in the late third quarter of this year. The upcoming Oppo Find N3 smartphone was recently spotted on the 3C (CCC) certification website, revealing its fast charging capabilities. The foldable has also been spotted in Thailand's NBTC certification, indicating that the device will launch globally. And now a popular tipster has spotted the Oppo Find N3 in the IMEI database.
The specifications of the Oppo Find N3 are leaked
Tipster Mukul Sharma said in a
tweet that the Oppo Find N3 has appeared on the IMEI certification site.
Looking at this listing, it can be assumed that the launch will be very soon.
The IMEI listing revealed the model number CPH2499, which was previously
revealed through certification by Thailand's National Broadcasting and
Telecommunications Commission (NBTC). NBTC has also confirmed the commercial
name of the phone. The IMEI database and NBTC have not revealed any further
specifications of the device but the device is listed on the China Compulsory
Certification (3C) platform with the model number PHN110. The listing revealed
that the device will come with one of the chargers with model numbers VCB7CBCH,
VCB7CACH, and VCBAUACH.
The first two chargers are rated
at 5V/3A (15W) and 11V/6.1A (67W) power outputs. However, it is unlikely that
the Oppo phone will come with both chargers. Oppo is likely to launch the
device with a dual-port charger with model number VCBAUACH. The charger will be
paired with a USB Type-C port and a Type-A port with a power output rated at
11V/9.1A (100W) and 20V/5A (100W).
Also, the list includes power
delivery with rated power outputs of 5V/3A (15W), 9V/3A (27W), 12V/3A (35W),
15V/3A (45W) and 20V/3.25A (65W). and ensures support for USB-PD. An earlier
report suggested that the Oppo Find N3 will sport a large 8-inch OLED primary
display, which will offer QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. And the
size of the phone's cover display will be 6.5 inches and it is also expected to
be an OLED panel.
For enhanced performance, the
Oppo Find N3 will feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 flagship processor.
This chipset will be paired with a maximum of 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
The foldable smartphone will run Fun touch OS 13 custom skin based on Android
13.
For photography, Oppo Find N3's
triple-rear camera setup will house a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical
image stabilization (OIS) support. And the main camera will be paired with a
48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 32-megapixel periscope lens. A
32-megapixel selfie camera is said to be present inside the punch-hole centered
on the display of this phone. For power backup, the Oppo Find N3 can be powered
by a powerful 4,800 mAh battery.
