Mahindra took appropriate steps to increase sales of electric vehicles before Puja. The company's only electric SUV, the XUV400, is now available for purchase at a reduced price of Tk 15 lakh.
Mahindra has announced a maximum discount of 1.25 lakh rupees on the said model. The car was launched in January this year. It is reported that the facelift version will come soon. The car can run up to 456 km on a full charge (tested range). The Mahindra XUV400 rivals the Tata Nexon EV and the MG ZS EV in the market.

has announced a massive discount on their XUV400 model for the second time.
Which includes cash discount only. Mahindra is not offering any other benefits
like free accessories. The discount offer on XUV400 will continue till the end
of this month. However, the company said that this facility will only be
available in the variants without electronic stability control.
The
Mahindra XUV400 is available in two variants – EC and EL. A 34.5 kWh battery
pack is present in the EC. From which the range of 375 kilometers is matched.
The EL variant is powered by a 39.4kWh battery. It promises a range of 456 km
on a full charge. Both variants are offered with a 7.2kW AC charger. Again a
3.3kW charger is available on the entry level model.
Powering the Mahindra XUV400 is a front axle electric motor. It produces a maximum power of 148 bhp and a torque of 310 Nm. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 8.3 seconds. The feature list includes a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with AdrenoX UX, Connected Car technology, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
