This year Stryder Cycles, the cycle manufacturing arm of Tata International, has launched several models of their Contino range. Its eight new models can be chosen with multi-speed options. For example – fat bikes, mountain bikes, BMX bikes and high-performance city bikes. The biggest surprise among them is India's first bicycle made of magnesium alloy.

Stryder Contino Galactic 27.5T is the country's first magnesium bicycle. The
specialty of this bike is that it is made of magnesium frame which is lighter
and stronger than traditional aluminum frame. As a result, this bicycle can
show more flexibility in the field of off-road riding. It is also able to
reduce the impact of vibration.
The
Contino Galactic 27.5T is priced at Rs 27,896 in India. It has various
features. Namely – dual disc brakes, front and rear derailleur for smooth
riding, front suspension fork with lock-in/lock-out technology, 21 types of
speed for different rough roads. This model is now available at all Strider
Cycles retailers in the country. It is also available on e-commerce platform
Amazon.
"These bicycles are designed to meet the needs of all cyclists, from the novice to the experienced," Rahul Gupta, business head of Strider Cycles, said in a statement about the new bicycle launch. Incidentally, the Contino range is available in various color and size options. The price of which starts from Tk 19,526 (Nortec model).
