Few companies have the ability to start the week with a bang like KTM. You must be wondering why there is so much bragging about KTM! At the same time,
the famous Austrian bike maker launched the new version of 390 Duke and 250 Duke on the same day. This is the third generation of the street fighter bike (250 Duke). The 2024 KTM 250 Duke comes with several eye-catching updates.
2024 KTM 250 Duke: Features
KTM
has tried to give a new touch in every part of this bike. New features include
a ride-by-wire throttle system, slipper clutch and quick shifter at the very
beginning. A turn-by-turn navigation system is also available on the 5-inch LCD
display with Bluetooth support.
2024
KTM 250 Duke: Design Along with the new features, KTM has made a lot of changes
in design and style. Many of the body works of the KTM 250 Duke's new version
are modeled after the company's flagship model, the 1290 Super Duke. One of
which is the new front fascia. Due to this, the front design of the bike has
been able to achieve much more aesthetic beauty. Also added are larger fuel
tanks with sharper flares and a new diecast aluminum subframe at the rear.
2024 KTM 250 Duke: Engine Specifications
Like
the 390 Duke, one of the biggest surprises of the third generation 250 Duke is
its engine. Which is capable of delivering much more performance than before,
as the cylinder head, gear box and air box have all been changed in the new
bike. However, the company has not revealed the power and torque output
information of the engine yet. The 248.7 cc engine used in the previous version
of the bike could produce 29.6 bhp and 24 Nm of torque.
2024 KTM 250 Duke: Frame and Chassis
Apart
from the engine, the chassis and frame will see minor changes. This model is
built on a completely new steel trellis frame. The rear monoshock suspension of
the bike is mounted slightly outwards. Also, the new curved swingarm, newly
designed 17-inch alloy wheels and new braking system will make the overall
weight of the bike feel a little less. As a result, the current engine capacity
to weight ratio is expected to be greatly improved.
The price difference compared to the previous model is negligible. The price has been kept at Tk 2.39 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2024 KTM 250 Duke will be available in Electronic Orange and Ceramic White colors. Advance booking of the bike has already started on the company's website. Customers have to deposit Rs 4,499 as token.
