Oppo's next foldable flagship smartphone, Oppo Find N3 is going to be launched on October 19 Earlier now, the brand's Chief Product Officer,
Pete Lao has released photos taken with the Oppo Find N3 to showcase the phone's camera power. Again, to judge which one is the best, the same image is also taken on the latest phones of two other competing brands. Let's find out what these images reveal about the Oppo Find N3's camera specs.
Oppo Find N3 camera sample revealed
While the scene is the same, there are
some differences between the photos taken on the Oppo Find N3 and the other two
flagship smartphones launched this year. The image basically shows an open
book, with sunlight coming in from outside. Apart from this, some other objects
are also scattered. Among which an Oppo handset also exists. The image captured
on the Oppo Find N3 reveals that the device can preserve natural light without
overexposing the highlights. Shadows are also well preserved in the image and
the transition from highlights to shadows looks quite natural. Besides, the
text of the book is also clearly readable.
On the other hand, the other two
flagship smartphones (unnamed) clearly overexposed the highlights, causing text
detail to be lost and dark areas to appear too bright in both images. In short,
both the phones fail to preserve the natural look of images.
According to recent reports, the Oppo
Find N3 will feature Sony's latest LYTIA 800 camera sensor, which uses a
two-layer transistor pixel structure. This enables the sensor to capture more
light and reduce noise, making it effective even in challenging lighting. The
first camera sample shared by Pete Lau indicates that the sensor is very
capable indeed.
Notably, the company seems to be
clearly confident about the camera capabilities of the upcoming Oppo Find N3.
How the phone's cameras perform in real-world environments remains to be seen.
As mentioned earlier, the device is set to launch on October 19, so tech-lovers
and Oppo fans don't have to wait much longer to find out about it.
