A recent online report revealed that Xiaomi is working on a new smartphone from its popular sub-brands Redmi and Poco.
The handset is the Redmi 13C, which will be sold as the Poco C65 in some countries. And now the specifications along with the model number of the 5G version of the Redmi 13C have surfaced.
Model Number of Redmi 13C 5G, Redmi 13C, Poco C65
As reported by XiaomiUI, the Redmi 13C
5G has different model numbers for different regions. These are – 23124RN87C
(China), 23124RN87G (Global) and 23124RN87I (India). However, the portal had
earlier mistakenly linked these model numbers to the Redmi 13C 4G. For you:-
In fact, the 4G version will carry the
model numbers 23100RN82L, 23108RN04Y and 23106RN0DA. It is expected to be
released in global markets and Indian markets except China. On the other hand,
Poco C65 model numbers for different markets are – 2310FPCA4G (Global) and
2310FPCA4I (India).
Chipset of Redmi 13C 5G and Redmi 13C 4G
The Redmi 13C 5G model will be powered
by the MediaTek Dimension 6100 Plus chipset. On the other hand, the Redmi 13C
4G and its rebranded version, the Poco C65 will come with a MediaTek Helio G85
processor. Other specifications of the 5G variant are currently unknown.
Earlier this month, some renders of the Redmi 13C were leaked online, revealing that the phone will feature a teardrop notch display, USB-C port and a 50-megapixel primary camera. The 13C series is expected to run on MIUI 14 custom skin based on Android 13 operating system. Let's say, the codename of Redmi 13C is known to be "Gale" (Gale), while its 5G variant is codenamed "Air". Presumably, there will be no rebranded model of the Redmi 13C 5G.
