Xiaomi today unveiled a new television lineup for the Indian market at the company's Smarter Living 2023 event, dubbed the Xiaomi Smart TV X Pro series and,
as the name suggests, a successor to last year's standard X-series. Improved version. The new televisions in the series come with 4K HDR screens and offer Google TV OS, which was first seen on Xiaomi TVs in India. The smallest of the
Xiaomi Smart TV X Pro series in India, the 43-inch model has been priced at Rs
32,999. And the 50 inch and 55-inch TV sets are priced at Tk 41,999 and Tk
47,999 respectively. All the three models will be available for purchase from
12 PM on April 19 through Xiaomi official site (Mi.com), Flipkart and offline
retail partners. Customers will get a discount/cashback of up to Tk 2,000 if
they pay through selected cards.
Specifications and features of Xiaomi Smart TV X Pro
The Xiaomi Smart TV X
Pro series offers a bezel-less metal frame. It has a 4K LED-backlit LCD panel,
which supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision IQ and the company's own color profile –
Vivid Picture Engine 2. As mentioned earlier, the TV is available in three sizes
– 43 inches, 50 inches and 55 inches. The larger model has a 40-watt speaker
and the smaller one has a 30-watt speaker. And all models support Dolby Atmos
and DTS:X.
Besides, the Xiaomi
Smart TV X Pro series televisions come with an ambient light sensor for
automatic brightness and a far-field microphone for voice control. It will run
on the Google TV operating system with the brand's own Patch Wall content
aggregation service.
Smart TV X Pro has
support for all leading streaming platforms, Chromecast built-in and Google
Assistant. However, it lacks Apple Airplay, which is available on the recently
released Redmi Smart Fire TV courtesy of Amazon FireOS 7. Finally, connectivity
options on Xiaomi's new television series include dual-band WIFI, Bluetooth
5.0, three HDMI 2.1 ports, two USB, an optical port, AV input, a headphone out,
and Ethernet.
