The Japanese company has brought an updated version of their Honda CB125R. Which looks like a neo-retro cafe racer model. Along with the new colors, it comes with great hi-tech features. Let's take a look at the details of Honda's new bike to take on the KTM 125 Duke.
2024 Honda CB125R debuts
The four new color
options added to the bike are – Matte Sines Gray Metallic with Black, Reef Sea
Blue Metallic with Matte Sines Gray Metallic, Pearl Cool White with Matte Sines
Gray Metallic and Pearl Splendor Red with Matte Sines Gray Metallic. Apart from
the color option, this bike has a 5 inch TFT screen as a new feature, where the
information of tachometer, speedometer, fuel gauge will be displayed. However,
there is no switch gear to control the TFT screen.
2024 CB125R, launched to
meet Euro 5+ emission norms. A new catalyst has been added to the exhaust
system to maintain performance benchmarks. The engine is capable of producing
14.75 bhp of power at 10,000 rpm and 11.6 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm. Comes with
6-speed gearbox.
The engine is provided
with fuel injection and underbelly exhaust unit. Honda CB125R has a top speed
of 105 kmph. It is built on a tubular and pressed steel lattice-style frame.
41mm Showa separate function big piston front forks and monoshock rear suspension
will run. Braking duties are handled by a 296 mm hubless floating disc at the
front and a disc brake with a 220 mm single piston caliper at the rear. Dual
channel ABS will be available. However, it is unknown when the new CB125R will
be launched in India.
