Ola Electric launched one of India's cheapest electric scooters last year. Named Ola S1 X. The company has started the delivery of the scooter from today, ending the wait of the customers.
It can be purchased in three battery options – 2 kWh, 3 kWh and 4 kWh. According to the capacity (low to high) the three models are priced at Tk 69,999, Tk 84,999 and Tk 99,999 respectively. Note that this price of Ola S1X is ex-showroom.

Ola S1 X Ola S1 X is the company's cheapest
electric scooter. Ola claims that the 2kWh battery pack model can run 91km on a
full charge. It will take 7.4 hours to fully charge the battery. It can
accelerate from 0-40 km/h in 4.1 seconds. The output of the electric motor is 6
kW. With a top speed of 85 kmph, the model has three riding modes – Eco, Normal
and Sports.
As notable features, the Ola S1 X
offers a 3.5-inch LCD screen and physical keys. The 3kWh version of the S1 X
model has the same riding mode, features and charging time as the 2kWh model.
Only acceleration time, top speed and range are higher.
The 3kWh model of the Ola S1 X variant
has an acceleration time of 3.3 seconds, a top speed of 90 km/h and a range of
151 km. On the other hand, the 4 KWh variant has the same specifications but
has a range of 190 km. In this context, Ola Electric Chief Marketing Officer
Anshul Khandelwal said, “The biggest barrier to buying an EV is the high
upfront cost. And that is what we are solving. By entering the mass-market
portfolio, we will be able to reach out to a larger number of customers.”
