Google is gearing up to bring its Pixel 8 series flagship smartphones to the world soon. This Pixel lineup will be launched on October 4. But not just the premium models,
the company is also expected to launch affordable models with 'a'-branding this year like every year. The Pixel 8a will hit the market a few days after the launch of flagship phones following Google's tradition. Before that, however, the design of the phone was leaked on the internet.

Pixel 8a Design Leaked
Tipster
Abhishek Yadav shared live images of the Google Pixel 8A from his X (formerly
known as Twitter) handle. The phone is seen in bright blue color in the image.
In a tweet, Abhishek Yadav said that the Pixel 8A is codenamed Akita and will
use the US tech company's own Tensor G3 processor. The leaked live image gave a
glimpse of the device's front and back panels
The
Pixel 8A will have a centered punch hole cutout for the selfie camera on the
front and thick bezels around the display. Notably, this Pixel phone will also
have curved edges on the screen. Overall it should look similar to other models
in the Pixel 8 series. The power button and volume rocker will be present on
the right side of the phone. Just like the previous generation Pixel 6A and
Pixel 7A models, the Pixel 8A will feature the same camera module design.
But keep in mind that since the live images have surfaced from an unconfirmed source, it cannot be said for sure that these are pictures of the Pixel 8a itself. Since, the handset is still several months away from launch, it is possible that the device shared on the X could be a prototype version as well. The current generation Pixel 7a was launched last May. So the Pixel 8a could also be released around the same time next year.
