Motorola Edge 50 Pro with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor is going to be launched in India on April 3.
Also, news has surfaced that the company is working on another model in the Edge 50 series called the Edge 50 Fusion. Some specifications of the phone have already been leaked online and now, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion has been spotted on the Geek Bench benchmarking platform. Which revealed some features along with the performance of the phone.
Motorola Edge 50 Fusion appears in Geek Bench database
The new phone is listed
as “Motorola Motorola edge 50 fusion” on the Geek bench platform. The listing
reveals that the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion will be powered by an octa-core
processor, with a base clock speed of 1.8 GHz (four cores) and a peak clock
speed of 2.21 GHz (four cores). This core configuration indicates that the
processor will likely be Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, which was released in
September 2022. It is already used in multiple devices like Realm 12 Pro 5G,
iCoa Z8X and Honor X9B.
Also revealed by the
benchmark listing, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion will feature 8GB of RAM and will
run on Android 14-based operating system. In terms of performance, the device
scored 913 points and 2,629 points in Geek bench’s single-core and multi-core
tests, respectively.
Although, no further
details have been revealed in the Geek bench listing, a previous report
mentioned that the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion phone will offer up to 256GB of
storage, as well as a 5,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging support. It is
expected to house a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
The price of the phone in America can be between $300 (roughly Rs. 25,000).
