MG Comet EV
MG Comet EV has established itself as
the cheapest electric car in India. Currently, prices start at Rs 6.99 lakh
(ex-showroom). The battery can stay safe up to 230 km on a single charge. It is
available in five variants – Executive, Excite, Excite FC, Exclusive and
Exclusive FC. Features include wireless Android and Apple CarPlay, digital
instrument cluster, LED lighting, cloud connectivity, etc.
Tata Tiago EV
Tata Tiago EV has established itself
as one of the cheapest electric cars in the country. The ex-showroom price of
this Tata hatchback starts at Rs 7.99 lakh. 315 km on a full charge. This very
popular car in the Indian market is available in four variants – XE, XT, XZ+
and XZ+ Tech Lux. This car can be chosen in two types of battery options.
Tata Punch EV
Tata Punch EV is Tata's newest
addition. The current price of this electric micro SUV has gone from Rs 10.99
lakh to Rs 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom). There are two battery options, the range
on a full charge is 421 km and 315 km respectively. Features include voice
assisted electric sunroof, a digital instrument cluster, large touchscreen
infotainment system and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The car can be selected
with different driving modes.
Citroen eC3
The latest model in the list of
cheapest electric cars in India is the Citroen eC3. Currently priced at Tk
11.61 lakh (ex-showroom). It houses a 29.2 kWh battery. This hatchback car
supports DC fast charging. 10-80% charge in 1 hour.
